Concrete pump mate — Berks County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Berks County, Pennsylvania. You will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works We offer $200 per day plus benefits.
