Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
