Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • A good head for heights and steady balance • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Day-to-day duties: • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling Six days a week, one day off.
