Van driver wanted in Effingham County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a van driver in Effingham County, Georgia. You will work with a transport contractor. Ideal candidate: • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and overtime • Familiarity with basic vehicle checks and maintenance • Minimum 2 years of accident-free driving experience Day-to-day duties: • Handle cash on delivery and reconcile the day's collections • Keep fuel receipts and update the daily trip sheet • Deliver goods to customers and collect signatures or proof of delivery • Load and unload parcels and secure the load with straps and ropes • Carry out daily pre-trip checks on tyres, engine oil, coolant, brakes and lights • Drive within speed limits and follow all road safety rules At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
