We are recruiting: lathe programmer-operator (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Davie County, North Carolina. The job is in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
