Shuttering carpenter — Pickens County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Pickens County, Georgia. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb Full-time, day shift.
