PVC profile cutter — Polk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Polk County, Nebraska. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Day-to-day duties: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
