Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Confident with manual handling and load securing On a typical shift you will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
