Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Gasconade County, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
