Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Hamilton County, Iowa. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
