On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. ₦145,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
