Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Franklin County, Ohio. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
