CO2 welder — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Jackson County, Missouri. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Part-time with flexible hours.
