Immediate opening: we are hiring a van driver in Atlantic County, New Jersey. The job is with a transport contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Keep fuel receipts and update the daily trip sheet • Arrange routine servicing and renew insurance and PUC documents • Check tyre pressure and report worn or damaged tyres • Carry out daily pre-trip checks on tyres, engine oil, coolant, brakes and lights • Top up engine oil, coolant and washer fluid as needed • Load and unload parcels and secure the load with straps and ropes What we are looking for: • Valid police verification / background check • Valid Class B / LMV driving licence • Familiarity with basic vehicle checks and maintenance At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
