Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Borsari, Yobe State. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Good eye for detail and a clean finish On a typical shift you will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level.
