Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Clinton County, Illinois. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
