Foundry labourer — Pulaski County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Pulaski County, Virginia. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time with occasional weekends.
