Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Shelby County, Iowa. You will be based at a powder coating unit. Requirements: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Day-to-day duties: • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
