Backhoe operator • Sheridan County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Sheridan County, Kansas. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing On a typical shift you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
