Backhoe loader operator • Flathead County, Montana

Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Flathead County, Montana. The job is at a landfill site. Day-to-day duties: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 6+ years on the tools preferred.
