Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Livingston County, Illinois. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
