Press shop operator — Tompkins County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Tompkins County, New York. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Your main tasks: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
