QC inspector — Orkney Islands

Join our team: we are hiring a QC inspector in Orkney Islands, Scotland. Your main tasks: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
