Day-to-day duties: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes 5+ years on the tools preferred.
