Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Beadle County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts The role involves: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands 4+ years on the tools preferred.
