Tile roofer • Cherokee County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile roofer in Cherokee County, Alabama. The job is at a roofing and cladding contractor. On the job you will handle: • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits What we are looking for: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
