Vertical milling machine operator — Rio Arriba County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls We offer $150 per day plus benefits.
