Vertical milling machine operator — Tama County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Tama County, Iowa. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Day to day you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
