Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator in Richland County, Illinois. You will work in a CNC machine shop. Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Day to day you will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
