Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes On a typical shift you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; record output and downtime on the production sheet; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor.
