Tower crane operator — Shawnee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Shawnee County, Kansas. You will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
