Trailer driver — Johnson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trailer driver in Johnson County, Nebraska. The job is at a haulage company. Your main tasks: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Requirements: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Full-time with occasional weekends.
