Roofing foreman — Caerphilly County Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. You will work on re-roofing and repair jobs. Your main tasks: • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates Requirements: • A good head for heights and steady balance • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
