Moulder — Luna County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Luna County, New Mexico. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale.
