Join our team: we are hiring a pressman in Douglas County, Wisconsin. You will work at a textile finishing unit. The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
