Solid plasterer wanted in Lafayette County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Lafayette County, Florida. The role involves: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Requirements: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
