Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Lea County, New Mexico. On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time, day shift.
