Now hiring: RCC mason (West Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a RCC mason in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day to day you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
