We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Clay County, North Carolina. The job is on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Rotating shifts.
