Sewing machine operator wanted in Crawford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Crawford County, Georgia. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 6+ years on the tools preferred.
