Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Esan Central, Edo. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times You will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
