VMC operator • Smyth County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Smyth County, Virginia. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
