Vertical milling machine operator • White County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in White County, Georgia. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
