Press setter operator — Leelanau County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Leelanau County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges The role involves: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed Full-time with occasional weekends.
