Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
