Painter and decorator — Union Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Union Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a factory paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Own brushes and basic hand tools Full-time with occasional weekends.
