Nursery worker — Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a nursery worker in Douglas County, Colorado. You will work in a residential garden complex. You will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
