Carpenter — Berkshire County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
