Vacancy available: shakeout operator (Minnesota)

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Becker County, Minnesota. On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
