Cold room technician — Greenup County

Join our team: we are hiring a cold room technician in Greenup County, Kentucky. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade The role involves measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; clean condenser and evaporator coils; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $16 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
